I had an original Braun Tassimo and loved it. I decided to update to a new model. The first T55 I received only made noise and did not brew. After a quick return and replacement, my new T55 works great and is quieter than my old machine. It brews quickly and the beverages are wonderfully hot and yummy! I really like the look of this model too.
I'm a real fan of Tassimo!

This machine holds less water than the older Tassimo I had. This machine has constantly required adjustments to the disk holder, has leaked now and then from the disk holder. The disk holder is much less sure and effective than the old Tassimos. Now after about a year, the start switch has gone out. Tassimo is a great system, I just don't know why they can't make an extremely durable machine, that you can plumb in for home use, you know a $350 super duty machine.

the t55 is a good machine and easy to use, the only thing I don't like is you have to remove the reservoir to fill with water!
My old machine I used for 10 years I could fill without removing, Guess I just got spoiled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by June Makes a wonderful Latte
This machine is compact and doesn't take up a lot of counter space. It makes wonderful latte's and specialty drinks. My husband was worried because all he wants is a restaurant style plain cup of black coffee and once I found a morning roast, he loved it. It did have 2 T discs that didn't work, but I think that might have been my problem when I was learning how to use it, as that hasn't happened again. I rub the bar codes with my thumb to flatten them before putting them into the machine. The water holder is a little on the small side, but then the machine is compact, plus it has a filter which I think is a plus since we have hard water. Then I don't have to buy extra filtered water. We LOVE this machine.
