Not as good as the T65
I had a T65 which died after 3 years. When I went to replace it, I saw it wasn't available anymore (or so I thought) and I bought the T55. I am very disappointed with it compared to the T65.
No LED lighting
The display is no longer a readable LCD, it's a multi function symbol display
The water tank is a joke, to remove, fill and replace
Seem cheaply made feel
I don't know why Tassimo moved their T65 model to it's "professional" series. My advise, buy the T65 (probably have to order somewhere) over the T55.
Lastly ... Tassimo, you sell several nice coffee mugs (the clear double walled glass and the white ceramic with rubber holder) BUT, they are too tall to fit with the cup stand in it's lowest position and too low (splatter mess) if you take it out like you were using a tall travel container.
My solution, epoxy 2 hockey pucks together and remove the holder and use the pucks .... perfect height.
My disappointment with the T55 is pushing me towards the Keurig Vue when the T55 dies.

Love this machine!
I shopped for a one-cup coffee maker for quite some time and saw Tassimo's ad in Bed, Bath and Beyond's flyer. It was very affordable for me so I purchased it. I must say I really love it. I usually only have coffee in the morning, but with the Tassimo, I can have a relaxing cup of coffee or tea in the afternoon without having to "brew" more than I need. My favorite flavors are the medium roast morning coffees and the chai tea. I only wish that local grocery stores offered a larger selection like they do with the other "preferred" brand.

Makes my Day
After going thru three of its competitors that were constantly breaking down, I was hesitant to try another. I am really, reallly glad I tried this one. I love the start of every morning started with my Tassimo. One great cup of coffee! I have used my Tassimo every day for two years and it has never faltered. GOOD JOB!

Design flaw, and poor tasting coffee
None of our standard, regular sized coffee mugs fit, unless we remove the "cup stand", and then coffee seams to spit and spew all over the place since the mug is then too far below the coffee spout! We have also tried about 6 different flavors of coffee, and they are all pretty bad tasting. The flavors that include the "milk pods" are decent, but something doesn't taste quite right, like the milk has a funny taste. The plain coffee beverages we have tried are either REALLY bitter, or REALLY weak. Even the bold french roast coffee is somewhat weak and watery. I'm really disappointed since I had high hopes that the Tassimo would be better than their top competitor that I've been using for years...But, sadly, I'm returning it to the store, and might even go back to using a standard, old, boring coffee pot!
