KING OF JOE Dark Roast Coffee
This brew is an alternative to my favorite, Kenco Columbian. Dark but not bitter, and not so strong that it overpowers whatever else you might be eating. I will definitely order this again, although I still will order my Kenco at 2 to 1, at least. This is much better with meals, or with dessert, however, when you still want to taste your food. It also makes a bigger cup.

Overpriced, Truck Stop Coffee
This is exactly the kind of coffee you would expect to find at a diner, a convenience store, or a truck stop. Not exactly awe inspiring, but definitely not watered down either.
The reason for the 3 star review is it's price....were it not for the fact it's so expensive, I would recommend this as a daily blend. At it's current pricing, I would recommend this as an alternative if nothing else good is on the shelf.

Not exactly what I expected
I expected a dark roast, which it really isn't, it's more of a medium roast. Also, I expected something a bit bolder in the flavor and aroma department. What I got was a nice serviceable cup of coffee. Kind of like you get at Denny's when they've just brewed a fresh pot. Not watered down, not burnt tasting, acceptable coffee flavor, but nothing remarkable about it at all.

Not all that dark...
I've been drinking the regular coffee blends and the Colombian. I've recently been ordering the Dark Italian Roast, but it's so dark that I usually use it for latte. This blend is perfect! It's not burnt-tasting like Starbucks, it's not harsh at all. A very nice change from my usual morning blend. I will order it again!
