( 1 )	Question What is the TASSIMO Hot Beverage System? Answer TASSIMO™ is the first one-cup, on-demand machine to create an assortment of authentic coffeehouse beverages including coffee, tea, cappuccino, espresso, latte, hot chocolate and more conveniently at home. Some of these beverages use real liquid milk and are ready in about a minute. The Tassimo Hot Beverage System works exclusively with TASSIMO T DISCS.
( 2 )	Question How does TASSIMO work to make so many different drinks? Answer The TASSIMO brewing system uses "smart" technology. The TASSIMO brewer works with proprietary T DISCS, hence making it a system. When the T DISC® is inserted, the brewer reads the unique bar code on the label. The code specifies the beverage to be prepared, the size, brewing time and the optimum temperature required to make the perfect cup.
( 3 )	Question What is a T DISC? Answer The T DISC was developed exclusively for the TASSIMO Hot Beverage System. They are specially designed single servings that contain an expertly measured serving of ground coffee or espresso, tea, hot chocolate or real liquid milk.
( 4 )	Question Is the TASSIMO machine a coffee machine? Answer TASSIMO is more than a coffee maker or an espresso machine. It is a hot beverage system that can prepare a variety of hot drinks, including coffee or espresso, at the touch of a button in about a minute. Tassimo uses smart technology to provide ultimate hot beverage variety, convenience and quality, providing a benefit that automatic drip coffeemakers cannot deliver. Tassimo's convenience and ease of use in making specialty drinks provides a clear benefit versus high-end espresso and cappuccino machines that can cost several hundred dollars.

( 6 )	Question How does TASSIMO use real liquid milk? Answer Designed and developed by Kraft Foods, the technology of the TASSIMO Hot Beverage System uses shelf stable concentrated liquid milk T DISCS for beverages such as cappuccinos and lattes. The milk product was perfected by building on the extensive experience Kraft Foods has in dairy production.
( 7 )	Question Does the real liquid milk require refrigeration? Answer The fresh milk for the T DISCS is treated at a very high temperature so that it is shelf stable and does not require refrigeration.
( 8 )	Question Is TASSIMO easy to use? Answer Yes. Simply select your cup, insert your choice of T DISC into the machine and press the button.
( 9 )	Question How long does it take to prepare a cup? Answer From selecting your choice of hot drink and inserting it in the machine it takes about a minute to make the perfect drink.
( 10 )	Question How can I make a cappuccino or latte at home? Answer The packages for Gevalia or Maxwell House Café Collection Cappuccino or Gevalia Latte contain T DISC servings of espresso and real liquid milk. For best results, first brew a T DISC of espresso then follow with a T DISC of the real liquid milk.
( 11 )	Question Where can I buy TASSIMO products? Answer The TASSIMO Hot Beverage System and accompanying T DISCS are available in the US at various grocery, mass merchants, club stores, department and specialty stores including Meijher, Target, Walmart, Macy's Bed Bath & Beyond, Linens 'n Things and Best Buy, as well as www.tassimo.com. The TASSIMO Hot Beverage System retails for $169. T DISC pricing will vary by pack size and brands, ranging from $2.49 to $8.99. Please see store locator.
( 12 )	Question Can I use other coffee pods/capsules with TASSIMO? Answer No. The TASSIMO brewer is designed with proprietary barcode technology and will only work with the specially designed T DISCS. Likewise, other coffee pods do not work in Tassimo.
( 13 )	Question Can I reuse the T DISC? Answer No. Each T DISC is designed to prepare one perfect cup and cannot be reused. The T DISC should be removed from the brewer and discarded shortly after brewing is complete.
( 14 )	Question Is the T DISC packaging recyclable? Answer Each T DISC is designed to prepare a perfect cup and cannot be reused. The T DISC should be removed from the machine shortly after brewing and discarded. The used T DISC is suitable for energy recovery through incineration. In locations where plastic collection systems exist, you can cut away the label, rinse the remaining coffee grounds, tea leaves or milk from the chamber and deposit the chamber and label with general plastics (non PET).
( 15 )	Question How should I clean my TASSIMO machine? Answer The Tassimo machine requires very little maintenance although it is recommended to insert the re-usable cleaning disc (supplied with machine upon purchase) in the machine every seven days. The bar code reader should be cleaned with a damp soft cloth. All of the removable parts are hand washable and all, except the water container, are dishwasher safe.
( 16 )	Question What should I do if I have problems with my TASSIMO Hot Beverage System? Answer The Tassimo Hot Beverage System has the quality stamp of Braun. If you have problems with your Tassimo Hot Beverage System it can be repaired quickly and conveniently at a Braun service center. Please call us at 1-877-TDISCS1 (1-877-834-7271) to arrange for repair or replacement of your Tassimo beverage maker, if necessary.
( 17 )	Question What are the differences between the new Tassimo brewer and the Premium brewer introduced in September 2005? Answer The difference between the two brewers is that the Tassimo Premium brewer offers a larger water tank capacity, a built-in water filtration system and a metallic finish. Both brewers enable consumers the opportunity to prepare and enjoy coffeehouse-quality beverages at home.
( 18 )	Question Do all T DISCS work in the new brewer? Answer All T DISC varieties are fully compatible with either brewer. The new brewer has the same smart technology as the Premium brewer. It reads the barcode printed on the T DISC label and automatically calculates the correct water quantity, brewing time and temperature to prepare the perfect beverage.
