Details
  • This package includes 8 Latte Milk Creamer T DISCS and 8 Chai Tea T DISCS
  • These T DISCS brew an 11 fl oz mug of chai tea latte
How to Make It
  1. Place your favorite (11 fl oz) mug on the cup stand.
  2. Shake the Latte Milk Creamer T DISC and insert it into the brewer. When the green Auto light comes on, press the button.
  3. After a moment of brewing, the orange Stand-by light will display. Replace the Creamer T DISC with the Chai Tea T DISC. When the green Auto light comes on, press the button again.
  4. The tea brews through the creamer, then your hot blend of tea, milk and spice is ready.

About the TASSIMO System

ENJOY GLOBAL VARIETY. The TASSIMO Home Brewing System by Bosch makes one perfect cup at a time with the ease of T DISC technology. T DISCs are filled with fresh coffee or espresso grounds, tea leaves or milk creamer (which the system froths for the perfect cappuccino or latte). Slip in your favorite T DISC and in just about a minute, your brewer makes coffee (iced or hot), tea, cappuccino, latte, crema, mocha, espresso or hot chocolate just to your liking.

ASK FOR THE BARCODE. Each T DISC uses a special barcode that tells your brewer exactly what to do: the size of the drink, the amount of water required, its optimal temperature, and how long to brew it. It's like the know-how of a seasoned barista right at home. All the brewing happens inside the T DISC, keeping the machine clean and ready to use. You can also manually control the strength of your drink with the press of a button.

AWESOME but.... The only thing that would make the Chai more awesome would be for Tassimo to offer it without the milk pod. The flavor and aroma are great, but I do not need/use the milk pod for this drink. Best thing ever So good it's addictive. I could drink 10 of these a day. I've tried other chai teas and they are terrible. They tend to taste like liquid red-hots or are just too bland. This one really works for me. It still tastes like tea, but a very flavorful, exotic, aromatic tea without going overboard. I find the sweetness to be just right as is. April 23, 2013
Must buy!! The aroma catches you from the first drop, then when you actually take a sip you have all the tannic capacity of a high quality tea, slightly sweet I love adding a hard caramel candy to the bottom and letting it dissolve as I drink it.. Simply my favorite so far!! April 13, 2013
Nice Chai I bought the Chai Tea Latte when I first bought my Tassimo and I fell in love! I have a concentrated version, but it doesn't compare to this one. I drink it hot and cold and it's the best. March 21, 2013

Twining's Chai Tea Latte for Tassimo is made with Splenda, not sugar. I do not know how many grams, but as a diabetic Splenda would be better than sugar.

Most cups of tea have 40 g of caffeine, and this is concentrated so that it can be a latte. I'd guess at least 40, but no more than 60. An average coffee cup has 120, so you are still doing better than coffee

The black tea in Chai does contain caffeine. Although for some reason drinking chai doesn't give me the jitters coffee and other caffeine drinks do.

I do not belive you can. I've seen it at BBB and they are an all in one package. Don't stop buying this because of that. Use the milk disk with your favorate coffee or anything else you'd like to experiment with. Keep the tea pods and use them alone if you so desire.

When making my chai tea latte, is the milk disc suppose to completely empty? More often than not, there is still milk left in the disc - maybe as much as 1/4 of the disc container. Is this normal or is my Tassimo not working correctly?

It's working great, as much as I understand it. I typically hold the extra water button down a few seconds longer. This clears the creamer out, but can water down your latte. The way the Tassimo is designed is to push water into creamer/latte and what is left over is the watered down creamer.

I beleive it is normal. I see it all the time with my machine. It does the same thing with the hot chocolate disk. It sounds like your machine is working fine. If you want the last of the product, just cut open the lit and pour it out and enjoy. :)

When using the milk discs there may be some residue left in the T DISC, but If your milk disc is not completely empty, please contact our customer service center at 1-877-834-7271 so one of our representatives may assist you in troubleshooting your machine.
