Great gift w purchase
I recieved two of these free w purchase of tassimo brewer, work fine and was a purchase planning on making so we can take our coffee on the go. Worked out great and may buy more!

The metal lip ring leaks
The cups have a plastic cap with a metal ring. After very few uses the thermal expansion mismatch between the plastic and metal will cause them to leak and dribble around the lip. It is easily fixed by working RTV into the gap on top of the cap. But still a very poor design.

They work great!
I received two mugs with our brewer over the holiday and have been using them for a couple weeks. These mugs have been great, I don't understand the negative reviews. They do have a plastic ring around the top of the threads on the lid which should keep it from leaking as long as the lid is tight. The top side of the lid has a tab that when pushed in just keeps liquid from splashing up ,but I don't think is "leak proof", though I haven't tried turning it upside down.... all in all I think they work just fine. Love the tassimo!

It Leaked
I received two of the mugs when I signed up for auto direct ship. It leaked the first time I used it.

...only w/ air my good friend, jus' plain old O2!...is especially nice when you can get inside these cups & line w/ a couple really thin layers of closed-cell foam sheeting...literally night/day when you get an xtra 1-1.5 hrs of hot time!...the best ones have glass suspended between air, but they are waay xpensive! ;)Age: 35-44
