Loving the T55
After years of drinking mediocre coffee we're finally looking forward to home brewed coffee each morning. The T55 is easy to use - only issue with use has been having to wipe down the bar code reader now and then or it won't work. But that's okay and not a big problem. My only other problem was during assembly there were no directions explaining what the 2 loose black plastic pieces were. After looking online we realized they held the float down - the enclosed directions did not mention them. Not really a big deal, but it would have been helpful if directions had been more clear. In the end, we LOVE this machine - very easy to use and coffee and cappucino have been great! I do wish more grocery stores carried something other than Maxwell House for it, so we have to mail-order our coffee.

love my tassimo
I was a little worry after reading some of the reviews regarding the difficulty with water tank and the removable stand...well happy to tell you once you read how to do it is piece of cake..I am really enjoying the coffee and tried variety of my Gevalia (I use Gevalia for years)..you can adjust the coffee strength by adding more water but usually what the disk recommends is the right amount for certain type. I am very satisfied , the only problem for me is the size of the tank , it should be bigger...

I am not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. I am in love with my Tassimo! I have given it a gender and a name. :)) He makes fresh and delicious coffee every time. The versatility of drink choices is amazing. I no longer stop for a custom cup of coffee. I just had a mocha/mint/latte HEAVY foam. I sprinkle it with cocoa power and boom out the door. The kids love the instant hot water (use the cleaner disk/code). Hub drinks teas. I have the Bosch T65. I'm not sure when it came out as it was a gift from my aunt.
The tank gives enough water for our morning with five people. I have a pull out water faucet so filling the tank is not a problem. I don't even move the machine. The Tdiscs are available to me locally and online.
The quality is heavy duty. The cord reminds me of a computer's plug. Mine has a digital display which is easy to see. I am usually not happy with many products. This one gets 10 CUPS WAY UP!

This machine actually makes me drink more coffee!
The T55 brews such good coffee that I have been using it much more than I would use any other coffee drip maker. I have had the T55 for about 6 months. I find the reservoir very easy to fill and load and it's not a big deal to refill it when it's getting on empty. I also like the plus and minus buttons to give you a larger drink or a smaller one. The taste of the espressos and cappuccinos on this machine rival my much older revered espresso/cappuccino machine where I have to foam my own milk. The drinks I've tried have been great quality although I have my favorites. I like the coffee selection, but Tassimo you need to get more variety in the teas. Only one tea I can find - English Breakfast Tea - and I don't care for chai, so I am disappointed about that. More availability and choice is what is going to keep the sales up on the Tassimo! And at the local Bed Bath and Beyond where I can purchase T-discs, they are loaded up on all the current Keurig selections, but missing some of the drink selections for the Tassimo. Why is that?
All in all I have had great success with the T55 and recommend it without hesitation!
