Rated 5 out of 5 by My thoughts on my Tassimo T47 vs my Tassimo T20 This is my 3rd Tassimo coffee maker... my first two were the T20 and now I have moved up to the T47.... I have no complaints at all about any of the coffee makers and actually still have the T20 (which we take with us when we travel) but now that I have been using the T47 it seems that the drinks are coming out HOTTER which I think is a plus!!! the three drinks I make are Maxwell House Morning Blend, Gevalia Morning Blend and the Mocha Latte and every one of them come out hotter.... other then that l I LOVE Tassimo its coffees and Mocha Lattes and will be a Tassimo user until I can no longer push the button and fill the water reservoir... Rated 1 out of 5 by Varieties of coffee available keeps decreasing When I first purchased my Tassimo brewer, there were many varieties and styles of coffee available; however, the selection keeps diminishing and is now very limited. For example, Italian Mastro Lorenzo coffees have been totally withdrawn and, as of December, French Carte Noir will be down to one type (which is a long American style coffee). What is the point of having a machine that can brew any kind of coffee, if only a limited number of styles are available (basically espresso and long American style coffee). I used to recommend Tassimo, but, in all good conscience, I can no longer do so. The machine works well, but the limitation in styles makes its features redundant. October 1, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by not impressed The machine is handsome. It is a bit quirky but when it does work properly, it brews better than our previous versions. Expect better performance from Bosch. August 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect coffee system You get a perfect cup of coffee, the right flavor and its never too hot that you would burn your lips. My sister recommended your coffee system to me and I am glad I did buy one. August 26, 2014

Answer:
No you cannot use the coffee pods you have now. The codes on the old ones are on the side where the window reads the code. The new pods have two codes where the window is on the front of the T47 brewer. I lost two boxes of pods when my old brewer quit on me and bought this T47 not knowing about this problem. Cannot understand why Tassimo didn;t let the public know about this problem.

Thank you for asking. As long as your T Discs have the 2 bar codes they will work on your T47. Have a good day.

Answer:
No, this model does not have a filter option. (The prior discontinued model T45 used the Mavea filter). I would recommend getting a PUR or Brita filter pitcher and then use the pitcher water to fill your Tassimo tank.

Automatic Descaling?

It says "automatic" descaling using a T-disc. Is this procedure any different than any of the other Tassimo brewers? It's hardly automatic.

The black is such a stark contrast to other colors in my kitchen, which is basically all white/cream with burgundy. My current Tassimo is white. I would like a larger one like this T47 model, but in a more complimentary color.
