ENJOY GLOBAL VARIETY. The TASSIMO Home Brewing System by Bosch makes one perfect cup at a time with the ease of T DISC technology. T DISCs are filled with fresh coffee or espresso grounds, tea leaves or milk creamer (which the system froths for the perfect cappuccino or latte). Slip in your favorite T DISC and in just about a minute, your brewer makes coffee (iced or hot), tea, cappuccino, latte, crema, mocha, espresso or hot chocolate just to your liking.
ASK FOR THE BARCODE. Each T DISC uses a special barcode that tells your brewer exactly what to do: the size of the drink, the amount of water required, its optimal temperature, and how long to brew it. It's like the know-how of a seasoned barista right at home. All the brewing happens inside the T DISC, keeping the machine clean and ready to use. You can also manually control the strength of your drink with the press of a button.

Best of everything
My children bought me my first Tassimo 10 yrs ago and it has served my needs completely. It was just recently that the water system has failed and I figured it's time for a new brewer. I just ordered the T-20 and I'm sure I'll be just as happy with that one. I get all my supplies from Bed Bath and Beyond and when Tassimo has a special, I order directly from them. Try it...you'll like it !

The Best Single Cup Machine I've Ever Owned
I am a single person who lives alone....since I don't need a 12 cup coffee maker, I've been attracted to the single cup coffee format.
My first purchase of a single cup coffee maker (I refuse to name names# was a complete disaster...it made poor quality coffee, the coffee cartridges were not available anywhere except at the manufacturer, plus they were horribly expensive to purchase. After that, I decided to wait for awhile for better technology to come along.
A couple of years ago, after I felt the tech had significantly improved, I looked at single cup coffee machines again, and decided on the Tassimo T-20 model....it made great coffee, the T-Disks could be purchased locally, and were reasonably priced, which I felt would more than make up for the higher cost of the brewer itself.
I have owned this model for two plus years now, and it's hands down the best coffee machine I've ever purchased. The coffees even better than 2 years ago #which wasn't all that bad even when Starbucks left the format#, coffees are still reasonably priced and locally available at more places than ever. I even developed a taste for lattes and cappuccinos...oh those are so good #real milk makes the difference)!
This machine can do everything, do it better, and save you money over the long haul.....what is not to like about it?

Love 99.9% of everything about my Tassimo!
Had this machine for about 3 months. It is beautiful, very fast, makes great coffee. Less than $1/cup, which puts Starbucks to shame. I have only used one type of coffee since I have had it, so I'm not totally sure on the "versatility" of the machine yet. My only complaint, and it really is a small one, is that it is a little loud. I put a placemat under it to try to muffle the "hum" but it didn't work. It makes the coffee so quickly though that it's not that big of a deal. And none of my coworkers have complained or anything so I just ignore it.

Creamers make this a Plus
Love this much better than the other brands as it comes with actual creamers to blend with the different coffees and especially the Chi Tea. Most others are just a water base product. The only thing I "don't like" is that it doesn't come with a part to blend your own coffees as the others do. Hopefully they will come out with one "real" soon and then I think this would be a 5-star product.

You have to use t-discs, they are the only ones that work with this brewer. The good news is that there's lots of options of coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, espresso, etc. The packages generally come with 16 t-discs per package.Age: 18-24

As long as you buy T-discs, you are fine. The shape of the disc and bar code on them is what the brewer uses to determine how much water/steam/temperature is needed for your beverage. K-cups and pods do not work. There is a huge selection of beverages - and they are all available online. I can only find a few in the stores around here. So, I signed up for the automatic delivery program, and I get exactly what I want and I never have to leave the house!1 year, 9 months ago

You have to use the specific T-Discs for the Tassimo brewers, so no "sharing" between Keurig, etc. There are many T-Disc varieties, so I don't think there would be anything out there that you might want that isn't available, at least in some version, in a T-Disc.Age: 45-54

Has anyone had a disc basically explode on them? This is a interment issue we can brew cup after cup with no issue then all of a sudden one will explode coffee and water go everywhere. This has happen with different brands of disc so it is not a disc issue. Any ideas

There was a recall to retro fit your tassimo with an additional fastener to hold the disc in place.It has a ring with a release button on it to firmly hold the disc in place.I have experienced 0 problems with exploding disc since I retro fitted the additional piece to my coffee maker, and the bold disc are also held in place well.KcatchoneAge: 55-65

Yes - seems like many people are having this problem, I have also. And it also does not handle the over sized discs worth a flip, like Starbucks morning blend. It is worse when you try to add additional water to it as well. Seems like this Tassimo line has some inherent problems that they have yet to get lined out. Everything you need to know to keep your system brewing better and longer.
GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BREWER
- Keep it clean. Using a soft, damp cloth, wipe down the outside of your machine and clean the barcode scanner regularly, so your brewer can scan the bar codes on your T DISCs properly.
- Rinse the water tank and filter cartridge holder - by hand, with water only.
- Clean the brewing unit regularly. Run the cleaning process with the Service T DISC that comes with your machine. This is especially important if your brewer hasn't been used for a while. Never use scouring agents or steam cleaners.
- Here's what's dishwasher-safe: the T DISC holder, piercing unit and drink outlet can all be removed and cleaned in the dishwasher. (When preparing a lot of drinks, one after the other, you can clean the piercing unit quickly and easily under running water.)
- Not dishwasher-safe: Wash the water tank, the back panel, the Service T DISC and all parts of the cup stand by hand.
DESCALING
Your brewer comes with a convenient, automatic descaling program. If the Descale icon lights up while your machine is on, run the descaling program immediately – otherwise the brewer may not function properly.
