About the TASSIMO System
ENJOY GLOBAL VARIETY. The TASSIMO Home Brewing System by Bosch makes one perfect cup at a time with the ease of T DISC technology. T DISCs are filled with fresh coffee or espresso grounds, tea leaves or milk creamer (which the system froths for the perfect cappuccino or latte). Slip in your favorite T DISC and in just about a minute, your brewer makes coffee (iced or hot), tea, cappuccino, latte, crema, mocha, espresso or hot chocolate just to your liking.
ASK FOR THE BARCODE. Each T DISC uses a special barcode that tells your brewer exactly what to do: the size of the drink, the amount of water required, its optimal temperature, and how long to brew it. It's like the know-how of a seasoned barista right at home. All the brewing happens inside the T DISC, keeping the machine clean and ready to use. You can also manually control the strength of your drink with the press of a button.

Great, Simply Great!
I absolutely love my Tassimo T65. There are so many features that make it worthwhile for me. The reason that I had gotten this one was because of its elegant looks, the fact it was the best one on the market (yes, I love to have the best of everything), and the LCD screen was on it as well.
For starters, it looks very elegant and professional. In my opinion, it boosts your kitchen's atmosphere because it adds a good looking kitchen appliance to your counter top. As for the part it was built for, it makes for a delicious cup of coffee on those chilly mornings. It also makes a coffeehouse style latte, mocha and cappuccino in just a couple minutes. The in tank filter and built in cleaning system really help keep your coffee tasting its best. The LCD screen is helpful in telling me what I need to do and offering friendly reminders such as refilling the water tank (which is large enough that I do not need to do too often) and not opening the capsule until the light is orange. The LED lights that illuminate the cup add a nice touch. It especially looks cool when you have a clear coffee mug. And finally, having the drip tray have the ability to be removed or raised is very nice.
Overall, if you are looking for something just a bit better than the T45 or if you just want the best that you can get, then look no further, the Tassimo T65 has you covered!

Good machine - Poor Product Distribution
We have owned the T65 since Dec, 2011 and it’s an excellent machine that makes an excellent cappuccino or latte. We paid extra for the light and the digital readout on the T65 and I’d say that aspect is worth it. If you want a cup of coffee, but a Kuerig. If you want a latte or cappuccino, I recommend Tassimo but with reservation. Kraft’s product distribution is horrible. They bungled the recall that occurred in early 2012 and were extremely slow to get the product back on the shelves (it took 2-3 months and they were slow to disclose the issues on the website). They are often “out of stock” on key products (milk) even as recently as Nov, 2012. It amazes me how they continually screw this up. This is not a year-old problem; their distribution problems are a constant issue and the product division is absolutely mismanaged.
Bed Bath & Beyond is the only place that carries a decent selection of product in the store. WalMart has a very limited supply. I don’t mind buying online and purchase from the Tassimo website, but I continue to be amazed how slow they are to process my order and how often they are out of product. Typically, I order on a weekend, they ship it the following Friday (regardless of that they tell you they ship to us once a week on Fridays) and I get the product by the following Thursday. The whole process takes almost two weeks, which reflects a total lack of customer appreciation on Kraft’s part.
As of December, 2012, and about every other month, we still have a new pod blow up on us. I see no danger, have the “fix” installed on our machine, but its wastes a good latte when it goes all over the place. Also, they killed some good products early in 2012 after the recall. We are coffee connoisseurs and the Maxwell House Carmel latte (you will find this hard to believe) was better than the Gevalia. Some of the other Maxwell House cappuccinos were excellent but they killed those too. They also got rid of the latte milk as a “separate product” which seemed to cause a mini uproar with some people. They continue to bungle their product.
My wife absolutely loves their Mastro Lorenzo espresso with cappuccino milk and it’s a true European espresso rivaling anything a good barista can put together. The cost per cup is around $1.75, so this machine is not going to save you money as you’ll drink more. I give the overall product 4 stars mainly due to product distribution. The machine and drink itself gets 5 stars.

Great brewer, but......
This is my second brewer, the first being the Braun, and I've been very please with the performance. Based on performance alone, I'd give it five stars. However, I now have to consider the variety of products available which has dwindled since my first purchase. This is why I gave it three stars (averaged the two). The selection is certainly going to give me cause to consider other options when the time comes. Until then, I hope the choices improve before that happens.

Love Love Love This
I researched all the different one cup makers and I finally decided on this one. I had told my husband that I wanted this for my birthday even though my birthday wasn't for 18 more days, I got it early. Now my husband doesn't typically like coffee okay okay he couldn't stand it, now he has actually shared 2 cups of coffee with me and had 2 on his own. We just ordered some different types of coffee and can't wait to try them. The only down side is that the T-Cups are hard to find unless you order them online. Although, I have found them at walmart and our local grocery store H.E.B. Other than that I love love love my Tassimo!

Giorgio;Yours must be an older model mine is a 1 touch operation but if I would like to increase or decrease the water flow which results in either a stronger or weaker strength cup of the selected beverage I just push the manual button during the current automatic operation the t-20 model will accomplish the above.

My T65 requires only one button push operation. I load the disc, place my cup under the nozzle, and press the button. I then can walk away and when I return it's ready to drink. One touch. put the t disc in and and push the button. the only reason to hit the button again is if you want more coffee. The t discs are designed to supply the right amount of liquid for each type of product. On the back of the box the discs come in it explains which coffee's push which amount of liquid. For example espresso disc are not meant to provide 16 oz. cups. They push 3 oz. So if you wanted more then 3 you can hold the button down, but its going to thin out the taste.Age: 35-44

Product Use & Care
Everything you need to know to keep your system brewing better and longer.
GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BREWER
- Keep it clean. Using a soft, damp cloth, wipe down the outside of your machine and clean the barcode scanner regularly, so your brewer can scan the bar codes on your T DISCs properly.
- Rinse the water tank and filter cartridge holder - by hand, with water only.
- Clean the brewing unit regularly. Run the cleaning process with the Service T DISC that comes with your machine. This is especially important if your brewer hasn't been used for a while. Never use scouring agents or steam cleaners.
- Here's what's dishwasher-safe: the T DISC holder, piercing unit, drink outlet, plus all parts of the cup stand can be removed and cleaned in the dishwasher. (When preparing a lot of drinks, one after the other, you can clean the piercing unit quickly and easily under running water.)
- Not dishwasher-safe: Wash the water tank and lid, the filter cartridge holder and Service T DISC by hand.
DESCALING
Your brewer comes with a convenient, automatic descaling program. If the Descale icon lights up while your machine is on, run the descaling program immediately - otherwise the brewer may not function properly. If your machine has a water filter, be sure to remove the filter holder with the filter cartridge before running the program.
