Great look, perfect weight and size but leaks We were happy to obtain the free mugs. But will not continue to use them. The cover and/or mouth piece of the mug retains fluid, which leaks through the seam when tilted or brought to the mouth. Liquid seems to go up under the steel overlay in the inner rim and seep out the edges of the overlay outer rim. The retained fluid also makes it difficult to clean. No leakage occurs from the cup base to the lid due to the gasket which is perfectly in place. The lid itself leaks. June 17, 2011

The Stainless Steel Travel Mug is spill proof other than a tiny hole for air in the lid. The lid has a piece that slides back and forth to open and/or close the the opening for the liquid.
