I LOVE THIS MUG!
This mug has worked excellent for me. I had to make sure the lid was screwed on tight. It made a great seal and did not leak for me. However, the first time I used it I had not screwed it on tight enough and did have leakage down the side. Once I figured out how tight to seal it I have loved it. It keeps my coffee hot for a long time. I am going to order more now that I have tried it out for awhile.

Messy top
Every time you open or close the drink hole cover coffee splatters. Poor design.

Great look, perfect weight and size but leaks
We were happy to obtain the free mugs. But will not continue to use them. The cover and/or mouth piece of the mug retains fluid, which leaks through the seam when tilted or brought to the mouth. Liquid seems to go up under the steel overlay in the inner rim and seep out the edges of the overlay outer rim. The retained fluid also makes it difficult to clean. No leakage occurs from the cup base to the lid due to the gasket which is perfectly in place. The lid itself leaks.

You have to make sure you screw the top on really tight otherwise it will leak down the side. I ordered 2 of these mugs and 1 of the brushed stainless. The lids on 2 of the mugs were flip top, and 1 was a slide top. All 3 seem to have the brushed finish, but 2 different lid types. I prefer the slide lid, but I can't really tell which cup comes with the slide top since they all look the same but came with 2 different lid types.2 weeks, 5 days ago

The Stainless Steel Travel Mug is spill proof other than a tiny hole for air in the lid. The lid has a piece that slides back and forth to open and/or close the the opening for the liquid.6 months ago
