- This package includes 8 Milk Creamer T DISCS and 8 Chocolate Syrup T DISCS; you use one of each for every cup of our wonderful Milka Hot Chocolate
- These T DISCS brew together to make an 11 fl oz cup of rich hot chocolate
How to Make It
- Place your favorite (11 fl oz) mug on the cup stand.
- Shake the Milk Creamer T DISC and insert it into the brewer. When the green Auto light comes on, press the button.
- After a moment of brewing, the orange Stand-by light will display. Replace the Milk Creamer T DISC with the Hot Chocolate Syrup T DISC. When the green Auto light comes on, press the button again.
- Allow your cup to fill the rest of the way, then enjoy a delicious mug of classic hot chocolate.
About the TASSIMO System

SUCRALOSE
This product contains BOTH sugar and sucralose. I'm sure the sucralose is the culprit of the bitter aftertaste reported by other reviewers. Personally, sucralose makes me sick, so I'm very disappointed by this product.

Pleasant hot chocolate taste
I agree with the reviewers that this hot chocolate tastes watered down but I only found this to be true after adding the milk component. If you desire a stronger flavor then don't add the milk disc. But I would recommend that the manufacturer design the milk discs to use less water. As for its sweetness, it's not too sweet and that's how I prefer it. I'm not a big fan of sugary hot chocolates.

Even Hershey's cocoa powder makes better hot chocolate!
I agree with the majority of the reviewers -just wish I had read them before buying the product. When I saw that it was a "Product of Germany" I was expecting superior German quality. I was sorely disappointed! I did notice that quite a bit of the chocolate syrup is left in the disc, and will follow the other reviews' advice to open it up and add it to the cup. I had to doctor this drink with about a heaping teaspoon of Hershey's cocoa powder, frothed into a little half and half, and added it to my Milka to create something worth drinking. I would really suggest that the manufacturer fix the problem of the syrup not brewing completely, and also suggest a cappucino style creamer instead of the tiny one that it comes with.

Perfect In A Pinch
I'm always having my nieces/nephews over and this is perfect for them. They can even make it themselves. Try a little caramel in it or a few miniature marshmallows. It's so good!

I have yet to brew a cup of Milka Hot Chocolate where I didn't first have to rub the T-DISC between my hands for a good minute or two before placing it into my Tassimo. If I don't "pre-warm" the T-DISC, the chocolate syrup contained inside simply doesn't completely melt/dissolve when hot water is injected. It took several watery cups of hot chocolate to finally figure this out. Is there something else that can be done so that I don't have to go through this silly routine?

I put mine in a bowl of very warm water and I still had chocolate lingering in the disc. (I think it's communing with the plastic odors.) After you've heated the disc and sent it through your machine, cut a slit through the top and scoop up all that nasty tasting chocolate. Personally I don't think it's worth the trouble.Age: 45-54

If I hold down the "more" button on my T65 machine until my 12 oz mug is almost full THEN the TDisc is empty but not if I run the normal cycle. They should reprogram the barcode info to run the disc empty! Run Milk Disc FIRST...my packaging showed MILKA+Milk=Hot Chocolate which lead me to believe the MILKA disc was first.Age: 35-44

If I just run the Tassimo cycle, the syrup never comes all the way out. I add the extra water for 15 seconds and that clears most all of it out and still produces a delicious cup of chocolate, and I get more for my buck!!Age: 45-54

Run under hot tap water for a few seconds should be quicker.If your water takes a while to heat up...
try placing the T-DISC in the microwave for NO MORE THAN 5 SECONDS!

I understand your dilemma... I haven't that problem save for a couple times. The only remedy I can think if pre-warming like you have been doing. Maybe have a cup of warm water and allow the disc to heat up in it for minute or two.1 year, 9 months ago
