How to Make It
  1. Place your favorite mug (11 fl oz) on the cup stand.
  2. Insert the Maxwell House® Coffee T DISC into the brewer; when the green Auto light comes on, press the button.
  3. Allow the mug to fill, and enjoy a cup of this well-balanced coffee.

About the TASSIMO System

ENJOY GLOBAL VARIETY. The TASSIMO Home Brewing System by Bosch makes one perfect cup at a time with the ease of T DISC technology. T DISCs are filled with fresh coffee or espresso grounds, tea leaves or milk creamer (which the system froths for the perfect cappuccino or latte). Slip in your favorite T DISC and in just about a minute, your brewer makes coffee (iced or hot), tea, cappuccino, latte, crema, mocha, espresso or hot chocolate just to your liking.

ASK FOR THE BARCODE. Each T DISC uses a special barcode that tells your brewer exactly what to do: the size of the drink, the amount of water required, its optimal temperature, and how long to brew it. It's like the know-how of a seasoned barista right at home. All the brewing happens inside the T DISC, keeping the machine clean and ready to use. You can also manually control the strength of your drink with the press of a button.

Perfect Cup of Coffee First and foremost, I'm not a fan of super strong coffee. I was worried that like the Tassimo's competitor for home brewing machines, the coffee would smell and taste burnt and strong. I'd tried a similar brand of coffee in the Gevalia brand for Tassimo and it tasted strong, so much so, it made me sick just smelling it. THIS IS WONDERFUL. It smells like coffee I'd make from my old fashioned coffee pot. The aroma is great, the taste is perfect (not weak or watery, not strong and overwhelming...just right). I add my own creamer, and out comes the perfect cup of coffee for any time of day! I highly recommend it! January 21, 2012
I would not consider this product a medium flavor, it taste wattery. I would recommend another medium flavor coffee that may be a few dollars more, but worth the taste. Since the review guidelines suggest to refrain from mentioning competors, I will honor their request. March 22, 2013
My first just pooped after 8 years... The only con I have is that they are bulky & hard to clean. I also don't like the way they have the water basin in the back. Every time you need to refill it you have to pull out the whole machine. The beverages are terrific. Otherwise, I am incredibly happy with it. Can't wait for my new one to come in. December 29, 2012
My Favorite! By far my favorite of all the Tassimo T-discs I've tried. I'm not a huge fan of strong coffee, so this medium roast is perfect. December 9, 2012

For the MAXWELL HOUSE CAFÉ COLLECTION House Blend Coffee it is 16 disks per bag with two boxes in a bag. So that would be 8 per box.
For other types of coffee you get different amounts per bag of coffee.

The manual says to turn the machine off for 5 minutes, then turn it back on. If that doesn't work, the machine has to be serviced.

The expiration date is in a colored box on the T Disc, it is also on the box. The Coffee/Hot Chocolate has a shelf life of 12 months. The Flavored Coffees. Cappuccinos and Lattes have a shelf life of 9 months. The Teas have a shelf life of 18 months.
