Starbucks/Seattles is not coming back to Tassimo, but infact debuting with Keurig in November. Too bad, as I think the Tassimo technology is far superior and much more versatile than the simple brew of Keurig. Seems like Beta vs. VHS -- Beta was clearly a superior format (and used by production studios) but less popular commercially.

"Coincidentally" in Novemer Tassimo will release the Starbucks follow-on products; Gevalia extra bold in 3 varieties. Packaged in similarly sized T-discs, they are compared (on the packaging) to the 3 Starbucks varieties. Shipment has been delayed; go to Amazon and search on "Gevalia T-disc dark" to see package and preorder for November 15 release date.

As you may have read, the strategic partnership between Kraft Foods and the Starbucks Coffee Company ended on March 1 and there are no plans of resuming this relationship at this time. As a result, we will be unable to offer Starbucks and Seattle’s Best Coffee products for Tassimo once existing inventories of coffee are depleted.

But, Tassimo has wonderful news. Available later this year, the Gevalia brand is launching three new “X-tra Bold” coffee selection T Discs. They’ve been created especially for those coffee lovers who prefer a dark, bold and invigorating coffee experience. Each of these exciting new blends is made with 100 percent Arabica beans that are precisely roasted to a deep richness:

Dark Breakfast Blend – a clean and light-bodied selection with a vibrant hint of citrus to put pep in your step … any time of day.
Dark House Blend – a dark-roasted, medium-bodied selection with hints of fruit and vibrant acidity.
Dark Italian Roast – A full-bodied selection that’s both sharp and intense, with slightly sweet caramel undertones. This is our most complex and hearty blend.

Tassimo apologizes for your inconvenience in getting the Maxwell House Cafe' Collection French Roast. It is currently unavailable. Tassimo's stock changes on a daily basis.

I also enjoy the Maxwell House French Roast and suggest you try the Gevalia Dark Italian Roast or the Gevalia Dark Breakfast Blend. Both are produced in over-sized T-Discs and really deliver on bold coffee flavor.

As Tassimo's stock changes daily, we can give a definate answer as to when the Maxwell House Cafe' Collection French Roast will be available. Might we suggest Nabob 100% Colombian or Kenco Colombian in the meantime.

This is a great suggestion. Unfortunately, at this time Tassimo does not offer a T-Disc to use ones own coffee. As for finding French Roast, it can be found on the Tassimo website at www.tassimodirect.com.
