No issues here
I can understand the frustration of people having difficulty finding fiilters that work for them but this happens with pretty much every product you own nowadays. Unfortunately nothing lasts forever (or even close) anymore.
I have had no issues with these filters other than my own laziness in ordering them as frequently as I need to and in doing the prep work.

Works great for my older machine
I have a 2-3 yr old T45 machine produced before all the Tassimo rebranding and these filters work great. Most helpful is the reminder on the water reservoir to replace with a fresh one.

Well "I" have a newer machine
These work great and go well with my NEW machine. I have no issues with them, well besides the 10 min prep period, but sacrifices must be made.
I use filtered water along with these filters and my coffee taste amazing. Definitely worth the purchase if you have a newer machine.

I have an older machine too. It would be nice if I could get a filter that works. I may have to consider cancelling my automated order of coffees.
Please bring back filters that fit the older machines!!!

Answer:
I typically brew 5 cappucinos or lattes per day and try to change my filter every 3 months or so. However I can only get them online and have been really lax about ordering them so I have gone as much as 5 - 6 months on one filter before and have noticed only a slight reduction in flavor quality. You might need to adhere more to the "standard" filter change schedule if you are a more "hardcore" coffee drinker or use the brewer more frequently.Age: 35-44

To ensure that your MAVEA filter is always working well, we recommend that the cartridge is changed regularly, at least every 8 weeks or 40 gallons (150L).For more information on this filter, please visit www.mavea.net.

Not compatable, they just discontinued the Braun filter. The technician said use bottled water, no need for filter. Spread the word to those that have the Bosch system, waste of money.Age: 55-65

Answer:
I have a Braun (purchased in 2006) and it has a water filter. I recently ordered and received the Mavea water filter thinking it was a replacement for the original water filter (which apparently is discontinued as it does not appear on the Tassimo website). Unfortunately, the Mavea filter is NOT compatible with the Braun, so that begs the question - where do I get water filters for this unit?Age: 55-65

Answer:
The Braun Water Filter will no longer be available. Braun has discontinued production of this item however, we assure you that your Braun TASSIMO Brewer will operate without the water filter cartridge; simply remove the filter cartridge from the water tank. Fill the water tank with ONLY fresh, uncarbonated water each day for optimum flavor results. Tap water is fine but chemically softened water is not recommended.2 years, 2 months ago

Answer:
No they disconitnued the filter when they went to Bosch. Technician says use bottled water, cheaper and easier. Tell the Bosch folks to quit buying the filters.Age: 55-65

Answer:
Unfortunately, no. I am in the same situation, I have an older Braun, also--and Braun has discontinued making the filters for the machine. (Sorry to say, but I think that was pretty poor planning on their part.) According to an answer above, the Braun Tassimos work fine without--just use non-carbonated and non-softened water, and no filter.Gender: female

Answer:
The Mavea filter does not fit the Braun brewer. Mavea water filters are only for the Bosch T45 and T65 brewers. The Braun water filter can be purchased at www.theessentials.com.
Your Braun unit can also be operated without a filter cartridge ; simply remove the filter cartridge from the water tank. Fill the water tank only with fresh, uncarbonated water each day for optimum flavor results. Tap water is acceptable to use. Please do not use chemically softened water.
