How to Make It
  1. Place a (3 fl oz) cup on the stand for a regular espresso.
  2. Insert the Mastro Lorenzo® Espresso into the brewer; when the green Auto light comes on, press the button to start brewing.
  3. Allow your cup to fill, and enjoy a tasty shot of this bold espresso.

About the TASSIMO System

ENJOY GLOBAL VARIETY. The TASSIMO Home Brewing System by Bosch makes one perfect cup at a time with the ease of T DISC technology. T DISCs are filled with fresh coffee or espresso grounds, tea leaves or milk creamer (which the system froths for the perfect cappuccino or latte). Slip in your favorite T DISC and in just about a minute, your brewer makes coffee (iced or hot), tea, cappuccino, latte, crema, mocha, espresso or hot chocolate just to your liking.

ASK FOR THE BARCODE. Each T DISC uses a special barcode that tells your brewer exactly what to do: the size of the drink, the amount of water required, its optimal temperature, and how long to brew it. It's like the know-how of a seasoned barista right at home. All the brewing happens inside the T DISC, keeping the machine clean and ready to use. You can also manually control the strength of your drink with the press of a button.

Great flavor, very smooth I don't usually drink straight shots of espresso but I definitely could with this. I use it to make a cappuccino by brewing it directly into frothed 2% milk. Wow, is it good and the flavor outstanding. This is strong but not bitter. It is very well rounded and solid. There are no harsh off notes. This tastes like the coffee that I had and liked in Europe. It tastes much better than Starbucks to me. If anyone out there is on the fence, switch to Tassimo over Keurig. I did and haven't looked back. It is built better, more reliable and brews a superior cup of coffee. I could have never got a cup of coffee this good from my old Keurigs. April 27, 2013

If it came with milk, it would no longer be Espresso...it would be cappuccino or a latte..depending on the form the milk would be in..

No, this is espresso only... no milk! I love this product and prefer it over some of the other brands. Has a nice, strong flavor and good aroma. You should try it if you like a strong espresso.

This is only an espresso t-disc. The milk creamer does not come with this package. You get 16 espresso discs so enjoy your shots of espresso.

Starbucks

Is this a true espresso like I would add to my drinks at Starbucks? Is it just strong coffee labeled espresso? I drink 4 shots over ice with syrup and half/half. Their shots are 1oz, so if this is a true espresso, how many ounces come in one pod? I've ordered an espresso from Tassimo before, was told it was 3oz. but came to 1oz. I love my machine and need verification before ordering monthly.

I would think it only makes 1 oz. I know it's a very small amt. when brewed & is strong. I do the same putting mine over ice (see recipe that I sent in). I usually use 2 disc's to make a 12-16 oz sz cup.

I think that the "Mastro Lorenzo" espresso is comparable to the Starbucks espresso in aroma, taste and strength of flavor. One pod makes a little less then 2 oz. of coffee.

The number of T-Disc varies per package. This information can be found on the Tassimo website by selecting the product you are interested in and choosing the packaging. Once that is done, hoover the mouse over the packaging and that will magnify the area that shows the number of servings per package. Contacting Customer Service at 1-877-834-7271 is another option.
