The best!
Since having to switch to decaf, I have been disappointed in the MH and Gevalia brands. I thought I would have to give up my Tassimao and start doing my own brewing again. Well, when I saw and tried the Hag decaf crema, my dream of an excellent decaf finally came true! Contrary to a couple of other reviews, I find the flavor very bold, but not bitter, aromatic and smooth. I am very particular about wanting a robust and flavorful coffee, and this is about the best single serve coffee (decaf OR caffeinated) I have ever tried.

Outstanding! Must buy!
This is one of the best drinks available for Tassimo; decaf or otherwise. The Hag decaf crema is incredibly smooth and delicious with a nice creamy foam on top. The portion size is generous for a drink of this type as well. If you're looking for a good decaf you simply can't do better than this. I can't wait to try it as a cappuccino or latte. My only complaint is I wish they sold the Hag variety in stores so that I wouldn't ever have to wait for delivery. Hag should be out front and center for everyone to try.

The Best
This is the best decaf I've ever tasted!! It has fresh roasted flavor. Wish I could buy this in local stores.

A very good decaf product
The only other decaf product I had tried was the MH, which I disliked, as it tasted like dishwater. This one has a very rich flavor, with good notes. It isn't very bold, however most decafs aren't. It will be a definite reorder for me, as it is finally a decaf that is an improvement over an instant. It is amazing to me that MH makes a better instant decaf than one for the Tassimo.

The description does not have that info. I find your decaf coffee too bland and weak tasting. I have usd Gevalia, Maxwell house brands. Which of your decaf would be a french roast or stronger coffee tastin disc.

Answer:
The Hag Crema does not have milk in it. The crema is a little bit of frothing done by your machine at the end that adds body (and taste) to the coffee. This is much richer and tastier than the Gevalia and Maxwell House decafs.1 year, 3 months ago
Answer:
None of the cremas have cream in the t-discs. The brewing process naturally produces the foamy layer with this type of coffee. My favorite is Hag Crema....it is decaf, but doesn't taste like it. There aren't many decafs to choose from, but if you like the frothy top of a latte, you will love the cremas. My other caffeinated crema favs are Jacobs Crema - Sanft & Mild and Kenco Crema. But they are on the milder side. Maestro Lorenzo makes a crema that is a lot stronger. But is has caffeine.Age: 45-54

Answer:
No it does not. The crema comes from the way the coffee is pulled.1 year, 11 months ago
Answer:
There is no milk product in the Crema coffees. it is called that because the machine steams the coffee at the end to create a foamy topping. It is VERY satisfying by itself and I think is probably the strength that you are looking for.Age: 35-44

Answer:
No, Kaffe Crema does NOT have milk in the coffee/disc. Crema refers to the "foam" that is created during the brewing process. A good crema is a sought after characteristic of a good espresso even though this is not an espresso coffee. If you're looking for a robust, flavorful decaf, give this a try. You won't be disappointed.Age: 45-54

Answer:
No, it doesn't have milk. I've also tried Gevalia and Maxwell decaf. The Kaffe Crema decaf is the best one. I've given Tassimo feedback to add more decaf in their selection because right now, I only like the Kaffe Crema.Age: 45-54

Answer:
The Crema refers to the top layer of foam that forms afer brewing. It does not have any milk. The ML Crema and the Carte Noire Kenya are good options for Crema. Full flavor yet smooth.

Answer:
Crema is just a thin layer of foam on top. It's probably produced by the way the Brewbot brews Crema coffees. Crema Mexicana does contain fresh cream (like crème fraîche).Age: Over 65

Answer:
No, the "crema" coffee's do not have any cream in the coffee disk. The Tassimo uses the built in air-pump to froth the coffee while it's brewing. I think that really brings out the flavor. However, you can try one of the latte disks to create a "crema latte"!! No pun intended. :)

Answer:
Crema does not refer to any milk in the coffee. Crema refers to the foam that floats on the surface of certain brews of coffee. Specificaly the brew is espresso, however some roasts of coffee have crema as well. Tassimo varieties such as the Hag and some Carte Noire have crema as well.2 years, 1 month ago

I've been noticing problems with this particular disc for the last 3 or 4 months. Every time I brew a cup of this particular coffee I have problems with water leaking into the coffee while brewing. At first I thought maybe it was a problem with my brewer but since it only happens with the Hag disc I'm thinking it must be the disc. This is my favorite crema disc because its a decaf. Now when I brew this disc there is hardly any crema because of the water leaking during the brewing process. I've noticed that the disc doesn't fit as snug in the brewer as the other do. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this and what if anything has Tassimo done about it. Thanks.

Answer:
Thank you Tassimo cs I did call the CS number and was told they would send replacement disc and make a report about the problems I was experiencing with the Hag disc. I really hope they can find out what the problem is because this is by far my favorite t disc. I really don't have a lot of confidence in Tassimo CS but hopefully they will prove me wrong in this case.Age: 45-54

Answer:
It comes as 2-8 count boxes wrapped together. So you get a full 16. But the fact that you get the 2 8 count boxes is why it looks like an 8. The taste is similar to the Kenco, but not as strong as the Kenco columbian.1 year, 2 months ago

Kaffee Hag Crema Decaf packages contain 16 T-Discs.1 year, 3 months ago
Answer:
Mine came in two individually wrapped 8 count boxes, that were bound together by a clear plastic strip. The silver wrapper was like the big one for 2 or 3 boxes. I don't know why they sell it like that, but in total, it was 16 discs, altogether.Age: 45-54

I love my Tassimo brewer and although I have found several coffees that I enjoy a lot I still need a good decaf. I want to use Cafe Hag because I have used it in other forms and know I like it, but before I buy it in t-discs I would like to understand why they cost twice as much. Does anyone know?
Tassimo, please offer more more decaf choices. Someday will you let us have the Carte Noire decaf espresso t-discs that are available in Europe and the UK?

I don't think it is. It is 2-8 count boxes. It is MUCH better than MH, which tastes awful.1 year, 2 months ago
Answer:
I bought this on My Tassimo on a Tuesday special for $6 per package (16 T Discs). I bought $30 worth, so I got free shipping. That's much cheaper than buying the Maxwell House Decaf for $7.29 at Target or the Gevalia Decaf for $7.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond. However, I agree that the $8.99 regular price is a bit steep for a smaller portion decaf, but it's the best decaf T-Disc I've found!1 year, 3 months ago

Answer:
I don't believe Hag makes a caffeinated version of the crema, but you might want to try Jacobs Crema - Sanft & Mild or Kenco Crema....they are both VERY similar to the Hag Crema. I can barely tell the difference. Kenco also makes a medium roast caffeinated coffee (not crema) that is very good. I have given up all others for these 3 brands. I've tasted everything available in Tassimo t-discs and these are the best!Age: 45-54
