  • This package includes 16 CARTE NOIRE Espresso T DISCS, bringing a fine, strong coffee to you in the comfort of your home
  • You can use this espresso T DISC to make other coffee drinks; flavor and milk creamer T DISCS are sold separately

How to Make It
  1. Place a (6 fl oz) cup on the stand for a regular espresso.
  2. Insert the CARTE NOIRE Espresso into the brewer; when the green Auto light comes on, press the button to start brewing.
  3. Allow your cup to fill, and enjoy a tasty cup of this full-bodied coffee.

About the TASSIMO System

ENJOY GLOBAL VARIETY. The TASSIMO Home Brewing System by Bosch makes one perfect cup at a time with the ease of T DISC technology. T DISCs are filled with fresh coffee or espresso grounds, tea leaves or milk creamer (which the system froths for the perfect cappuccino or latte). Slip in your favorite T DISC and in just about a minute, your brewer makes coffee (iced or hot), tea, cappuccino, latte, crema, mocha, espresso or hot chocolate just to your liking.

ASK FOR THE BARCODE. Each T DISC uses a special barcode that tells your brewer exactly what to do: the size of the drink, the amount of water required, its optimal temperature, and how long to brew it. It's like the know-how of a seasoned barista right at home. All the brewing happens inside the T DISC, keeping the machine clean and ready to use. You can also manually control the strength of your drink with the press of a button.

Good but too bitter. This espresso is strong and flavorful, but a bit too bitter for my taste. I prefer Mastro Lorenzo over this one. However, my husband like this one better as he said ML is too strong. I also would like if it brew a hotter cup. December 25, 2012
Great! I ordered this by mistake. Opened the box and wondered why there was a package of espresso there. But I kept it because who doesn't like some extra espresso lying around? Anyway, this stuff is really really good. I had a pack of cappuccino and was having to use two of the espresso packs that came with it per cup because the flavor of that one was somewhat poor and weak. Of course, I ran out of the espresso before the milk so I substituted this one day. Just needed one shot and what a great flavor. Definitely looking forward to making an americano with it next. On the Tassimo website sidebar, this "ristretto" is listed as an 8 ounce drink size but of course I would expect it to be smaller than the other 4 ounce espressos - so what is the volume of this drink?

It certainly does not make a 4.5 oz as indicated on this web site. The package clearly indicates 50 ml which is close to 1.6 oz and this is what I am experiencing. This is the size Please correct the web site as to not mislead people like me about the size of the cup. It is wonderful but too small for my morning brew..

I did not measure it, but is definately NOT 8oz...perhaps 1.5-2.0oz... A typical "shot" of Espresso like you would be served in those tiny cups at a caffe...

Most have the coffee ounces on the side. Pretty much all espressos can be expected to be 3 oz. others will show on the package so you know what to use.

Only the packages contain the beverage size, not the actual T-Disc itself.
